Andrew PeglerUK Director, Jadestone Group
Andrew represents Jadestone, one of Sweden’s largest games development companies, in the UK and in Central Europe. His remit is to develop new business opportunities in these territories and to manage existing clients such as Gala Coral, Unibet and Betfair. The core of Jadestone’s work is their ownership and operation of 2 multiplayer gaming networks in GamArena and in DiceArena (including Backgammon). Jadestone is an expert in multiplayer gaming for fun, for cash and for points. It has developed 2 European networks that combined offers players 25 unique games in 25 languages. GamArena is focused on challenge games and DiceArena is focused on table games. Both propositions benefit from shared player liquidity and shared back-office services. Together they generate >2,000 concurrent players at peak times. Formerly Andrew was the Managing Director of GamArena Ab, the skill gaming company now 100% owned and operated by Jadestone Group. It was launched in Q3 2006 as the next generation of skill games and has since added Unibet, bwin and Nordicbet as iGaming distribution partners. Prior to GamArena, Andrew worked in a dual capacity for Jadestone and for Boss Media on two ventures: the first to develop mobile gambling propositions, the second to create a skill gaming proposition. During that period Andrew also acted as the UK Account Manager for William Hill (one of Boss Media’s platinum clients). Andrew joined Jadestone and Boss from Gambling Works Limited, an iGaming consultancy that he founded in 2003 and via which he worked on various multichannel iGaming projects for a range of clients including Coral Eurobet and the Tote (UK). Prior to Gambling Works, Andrew was a Senior Commercial Manager at BSkyB (Sky) focused on interactive TV working with clients such as Ladbrokes, Littlewoods and Blue Square. Andrew has an MBA from Warwick Business School and is a regular contributor to multiple iGaming magazines.
